Thematic path · 6 books · 9 stops
Centuries before Jesus, the prophets sketched the coming One in startling detail — born of a virgin in Bethlehem, a King yet a Suffering Servant, pierced for our transgressions, the messenger preparing his way. This path walks the great messianic prophecies and then watches the Gospels declare each one fulfilled. Follow the gold thread of promise as it runs from Isaiah's Immanuel to the empty tomb.

Isaiah · Isaiah 7:1–25
The promise opens: a virgin will bear a son called Immanuel — "God with us" — a divine child named Mighty God and Prince of Peace, a King from David's line.
Micah · Micah 1:1-16
Where he will be born: little Bethlehem, "out of you will come one to be ruler in Israel, whose goings out are from of old." Matthew sends the magi here.
Isaiah · Isaiah 52:1–15
The shock of the promise: not only a King but a Suffering Servant, "pierced for our transgressions," on whom "the LORD has laid the iniquity of us all."
Zechariah · Zechariah 1:1–21
The King comes lowly, riding on a donkey — and "they will look on me whom they have pierced." Triumph and piercing held together in one vision.
Malachi · Malachi 3:1-18
The last word of the Old Testament: a messenger will prepare the way, and "the Lord whom you seek will suddenly come to his temple." Then four centuries of silence.
Matthew · Matthew 1
Fulfillment begins: "they shall call his name Immanuel" — Isaiah's sign, born in Bethlehem as Micah foretold. The promise takes on flesh.
Luke · Luke 2
"Born to you today, in David's city, a Savior, who is Christ the Lord." The long- awaited Messiah arrives, announced to shepherds.
Matthew · Matthew 27
The Servant's hour: Jesus dies crying Psalm 22's "why have you forsaken me?" while soldiers cast lots — Isaiah 53 and Zechariah's piercing fulfilled at the cross.
Luke · Luke 24
The risen Christ opens the Scriptures and shows that all of it — Moses, the Prophets, the Psalms — was about him. The thread lands: foretold, and fulfilled.
