New Testament

Mark

Mark presents Jesus as the Son of God and the suffering Son of Man, whose authority over sickness, demons, nature, and sin reveals the Kingdom breaking in — and who, after calling disciples to take up the cross and follow, gives his life as a ransom for many, is crucified as the King and Son of God, and rises, sending his people to preach the Good News to all creation.
